Matters of National Integration

Any national issue,when discussed,youth plays a pivotal role in understanding the issue. Both from the perspective of identifying the problem and what needs to be done to overcome it."The Gen Next" as the youth is identified nowadays, is a backbone of a nation as they are learning values and ethos from the earlier generation and are going to carry forward it for the future of the nation. The Gen Next with the advent of new technologies, is very well informed and highly approachable compared to their peers. It helps them communicate aspirations and support cutting across physical barriers of caste,creed,distance,race,religion etc.The youth today should move ahead not with an orthodox mentality but, with the thinking of a sensible and educated citizen.'We belong to a nation,we have carved out a territory, a vast territory, it's ours; it doesn't belong to a Punjabi,Sindhi or a Pathan, it belongs to us. Today's youth may appear a bit impatient, but at the same time, is more adaptable, open and ready to work. A classic eg. of youth making difference in matters of national integration, is a few initiatives taken in the last few years such as IAC i.e. India Against Corruption, started by Shri Anna Hazare in which  youth of the nation participated overwhelmingly showing the true power of the gen next.IAC truly united India against the menaces it faces. Another good eg. is the initiative taken by Sir Aamir Khan in 'Satyamev Jayate'.He took up the national issues and the youth once again responded overwhelmingly.The role of youth is basically more important as 60% of the Indian population is below 30 years i.e. the youth.With better education,diminishing gender biases and a very fast and effective social networking is empowering today's youth to take up leading role in the matters of national integration. The integration of any nation undoubtedly depends on the youth of the society as after all it is the one who is going to organize or constitute our nation.if the youth of today stops working unitedly, then the nation will scatter.the integrity of the nation is only the result of integrity of the youth.if the youth works unitedly and in an organised manner than our will become an ideal society.Integrity equals honesty and goodness,wholeness and unity.Youth has a young mind,a fresh mind,a fertile mind and an open mind, capable of receiving the signal triggers and act accordingly and positively in our ever changing society and environment.They are the 'present'.They will be our 'future' because the youth of today believes in "Begin to be now,what you will be here after.".A youth,an individual is a single unit of society.the role they play in nation building starts from the integrity in an individual,then in a group,then in a society and in turn national integrity.
